Jaden Kreyol
in progress
since 2024
In the Caribbean, Creole gardens are small individual plots of land where food crops, ornamental plants and medicinal plants are cultivated using ancestral practices. Jaden Kréyol is an artistic project in which I explore the Guadeloupean Creole garden as a space of political and poetic resistance. Conceived as a composite dispositif, Jaden Kréyol brings together photography, video and sound recordings to compose a sensitive ecosystem that invites us to rethink our relationship with the living world through the Caribbean lens.
